  1. I don’t know that I can pick just one!!! I really liked Sophie Kinsella’s Confessions of a Shopaholic. That one opened up a new world of chick lit and introduced me to some of my favorite authors.

  2. The entire Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. It’s very entertaining and cute. 😀

  3. Lorraine Gutheim says:

My favorite is Possession by AS Byatt

  4. I really enjoy books Miranda Dickinson Jenny Colgan, and anything by Sophie Kinsella. There is just something about British chick lit that has me coming back for more.

    • Oh, yes. British Chick Lit is tops! We have one coming out in a few months, Cocktails at Le Carmen. It’s British Chick Lit set in Paris. What could be better?

Sophie Kinsella and the Shopaholic series are my most beloved chick lit stories becasue they are the ones that introduced me to the genre.

  6. Hard to choose, but I’m going to go with something recent that I loved…The Life Intended by Kristin Harmel. It’s the book I WISH I wrote!

  7. Charlene A. says:

Bridget Jones’ Diary – it’s the classic chicklit book. Bridget is fun, real and quirky, and you can’t help but root for her and Mark Darcy. A hilarious bok, and not too bad as a movie either.

  8. The I Heart Series by Lindsey Kelk

  9. Claudia Rivera says:

The book “Labor Day”. I recently watched the movie too and loved both the book and the movie.

  10. Hailey Fish says:

The most beloved Chick Lit book I’ve read and why is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks because it captures true love from start to finish.

  11. Finding Out by Sheryn MacMunn

  12. One Hit Wonder by Lisa Jewell

  13. Goodnight June by Sarah Jio. I love this book, because the book is an incredible story based upon one of my favorite childhood stories!

  14. Ruth Lyons Mazur says:

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and The Beautiful Day by Elin Hildebrand. Both of them tugged at my heartstrings for many different reasons and on many levels.

  15. paula. poindexter says:

Most anything Nora Roberts writes is fun to read.

  16. The Firelight Girls. memorable.

  17. It started with Undomesticated Goddess by Sophia Kinsella. I would drive fifty miles each way to work and started listening to audio tapes. It was so much fun to listen to…from there I moved to the Shopaholic series.

  18. Connie Saunders says:

How about Karen Robards, a Kentucky favorite!

  19. We have a winner! Congrats, Hailey! Happy Valentine’s Day!
